The Anne Arundel County Maryland visitation program offers three primary services to the aging community as well as hospitalized children and anyone who can benefit from contact from a caring member of our community. Pets on Wheels introduces friendly companion animals to those individuals who benefit from the remembrance and companionship of an old friend. Life Enrichment allows volunteers to establish a persistent and continual one-on-one relationship with one or more elderly individuals. Mom & Me volunteers bring the joy of children into the lives of our county's aging residents and more. Share your pet!!! Pets on Wheels volunteers take pets on regular weekly visits to isolated residents to one or more of the senior centers in the county or other visiting sites. Volunteers in this program are responsible to the Pets on Wheels Director and Site Liaison.
